I have medically examined more than 100 adopted children.
I'd like to share with you some recent excerpts from letters I
have received from happy adoptive parents.
"Taras is 3 years old now, and he is doing very well. I thank God that he is still very healthy and a very happy little boy!
Taras really likes music and is fascinated with musical instruments - guitar, drums, piano. He walks around all day long singing and strumming on his ukulele ("guitar") . . . takes it to bed with him. He saw a live band performing at a restaurant, and the drummer in the band gave him a pair of drumsticks to take home with him. Taras was in heaven! He also allowed Taras to play the drums. Taras actually repeated the sequence of beats that the drummer played. So now, he "plays" his guitar and drums (a plastic bucket with a lid and a couple of empty coffee cans with lids) at home all day! I can't wait until he's old enough to take music lessons."

"I wanted to give you an update on Emma Tatiana's progress.
I took her to the local pediatrician the day after we got home. Believe it or not, most of her rash was due to malnutrition and yeast-related problems due to frequent use of antibiotics (and a lot of sweating). Within days of receiving great nutrition and supplemental vitamins, her rash cleared dramatically. She now only has a very slight diaper rash. Developmentally, she's doing great, too. She's gained over six pounds and has grown two inches taller. She crawls, climbs and took her first steps two days ago. She's seeing speech and physical therapists and is learning new things all the time. She's a remarkable little girl whose determination, curiosity and happy disposition make an absolute joy to parent. I'm attaching a photo of Emma at the beach with my niece. I can not thank you enough for your thoughtful and thorough evaluation of her. You are the reason she is my daughter. I will try to provide you periodic updates so you can track her progress and determine for yourself if your evaluation was correct. As for me, I feel sure you were right and she is well on her way to becoming a healthy, happy, normal toddler. I love being her Mom and love her more every day.
Thank you again,
Connie Gillette"
"Hope you remember us...we are the ones you went to Cherkassy with in December!!!!!
I have been meaning to email you and have been soooo busy (surprising :))...
Anyway I wanted to share our journal with you, the last entry has some pictures and of course you are in them!!!!
We have recommended you to many and know of a couple going next week who is seeking a 6 year old girl and using you (if they have not made contact yet they are going to this week).
Anyway here is our journal...we had a GREAT experience in Ukraine, Cherkassy was very good to us, we could not have had a better experience-it was all wonderful!!!!
Now we have a baby to deliver in about 7 weeks, she "behaved" while there and just now is feeling "heavy".
Big thank you and here is our site...if you ever need any referrals please know you can count on us- just ask!!!!!"

"Paul and I are home with our new son Oleg whom we renamed
Alec. Yes, we decided after a sleepless night that he was the
one and we have not regretted it since. Thanks again for all your
help. You were a godsend. You can always use us as a reference."
(Sheryl and Paul , USA).
"I will always be grateful for your professional, yet
humane approach which helped us realize the treasure that Eric
is."
(Sandra and Albert, Canada)
"Eli is a very happy child and is not shy to show his
charming smile. He has all the women in my office in love with
him. Bless you for your unselfish work. I think of you often and
will always remember your kindness towards my family."
(Harry and Kim, USA)
"Deanna is doing very well, she has gained weight and
grown taller too. She's very happy and makes a lot of noise too.
Thank you very much for all your help. We are sure you would make
an excellent facilitator for adoptions."
( Nick and Colleen, Canada).
"Thank you very much, Dr. Yuriy, for forwarding Taras'
medical report so promptly! He had a good checkup, and the doctor
said Taras appears very healthy. We also would like to thank you
for your services and for all you did for us. It was very reassuring
to have your independent expert medical opinion. As the adoption
process can sometimes be very stressful and unsettling, we were
grateful for your guidance as well as for the kindness and empathy
you displayed not only towards us, but also to the adoptive children
at the orphanages. The time spent with you on the way to the orphanage
greatly added to the wonderful memories of our trip to Ukraine.
It was a great pleasure to have met you !!!"
(The McCurdies, USA).
"I'm not sure we could have gotten through the process
without all of your help. Having you with us gave us a measure
of confidence in her (Julia) potential that we might not have
had otherwise. It was very reassuring having your opinion of her."
(Gerry and Mary, Canada).
"I want to thank you for your reassuring and wonderful
service you have provided to my last two couples. Both couples
were very pleased with your work and they asked me to thank you
again on their behalf."
( Marlies M.; Adoption Consultants International, USA).
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact
me. I'll be happy to assist you with the medical part of your
adoption.
